6th Homework (writing)

A funny thing happened while I was shopping in town in a store that was spotless, when seddenly tow girls asked if the sweater was available  in their  size and the saleswoman said that there was one sweater in médium size. The two girls look at each other with killing eyes. It look as if  they were going  to start a real and filthy battle.

They decide to try the sweater on in order to know who  looked better on it. Ofcurse i was staring at them  I didn’t want to miss a detail.

When the first girl  came out with the sweater and try it on. After a few minutes she came out  from the changing room and she  notice that it was tiny for her.

The two  friends were furious about  it and they go out yelling, while the saleswoman  felt exhausted.

I was laughing at them because they were figthing for nothing.

In my country we celebrate the Day of the Dead the first two days of November, usually make offerings for the dead than they used to eat and drink, put their photos. Also costumed children go to the streets to ask for candy.
In my family we put an offering and we go out to giving candy.

Day of the Dead is a cultural celebration lasts two days and is a tribute to the deceased, but on Halloween scares away evil spirits, lasting one night.

According to scholars, All Hallows' Eve is a Christianized feast initially influenced by Celtic harvest festivals.

It’s said that every October 31 the dead used to wander all night and they had one that malevolent and wandering around towns and villages visiting house to house asking for “trick or treat”, the myth says that it was better to treatment, because not agree this spirit, his powers were used to “trick” cursing the house an it’s inhabitants, giving them a curse. Since then people create pumpkins for protection.

My name is Berenice Balderas and I have 18 years, I want to be part of conservation expedition and also want to volunteer. I would like to know the animals likely investigate and places where we could be, in order to investigate the area.
I have experince in handling sea canoes, I have a good physical condition and I can swim in rivers and seas.

 
I can speak Spanish because I'm a Mexican, so that I can communicate with people in the communities we visit.
I have little experience in this kind of excursions, but I am interested in training that will give, so I ask you if you send me the information of the place, date and time will be the training.

3rd Homework (writing)

My favorite food is spaghetti al chipotle, I like it because I like spaghetti and i like how chipotle tastes and if you can put both in one dish it's the perfect combination. When it was Christmas and my birthday I used to eat spaghett, I since those days I stared loving that food.

Most of the times my mom prepares it but I help her and I also know how to cook it, its preparation it's really fast and easy. Spaghetti is one of the food I love cooking.

As I already said, I eat it when it's Christmas and my birthday but I also eat spaghetti once a week or maybe twice a month, but it`s something that I usually eat.

The electricity we use is generated by power plants, then it's carried by transmission lines to eventually be distributed. It's created by various sources such as water, natural gas, coal, oil, sun and wind.
Hydroelectric power stations work by storing water from lakes, ponds and rivers in dams. This energy is renewable because the water never ends. 

Thermostatic Central: it works through the burning of natural gas, coal and oil. The force of the wind to move the windmills and the sun's rays for solar panels.

 Always it transmitted by cables to the transformers. This is brought to a focus, which in Mexico is the Federal Electricity Commission which organized the distribution of it.
The most of the people depend on electricity, since all the technology we occupy as the television, stereo, computers, phones use electricity to operate. Today, without these devices is difficult to live.

1st Homework (writing)

Hi Annie.

The first thing I do to be healthy is eating a good diet, you can include vegetables like carrots, spinach, cucurbit, broccoli and celery. I try to avoid potatoes and peas. Also I can eat all kind of fruits and I try to avoid banana and mango because it contains a lot of calories.

It's important to avoid junk food, I prefer to cook with olive oil. Eat a lot of chicken and fish and eat red meat 2 times a week.

For phisical activities I recommend you to go to the GYM and use all the equipment to get a perfect body.  You can run and take dancing classes. For example I go to the GYM once a week  and I go to zumba classes from monday to friday.

A basic tip to be healthy is to take 2 litres of water or 8 glasses of water.
